Today 12 April 2024, DTE ( Directorate of Technical Education, Assam:  www.dte.assam. gov.in ) published a Polytechnic notification in Axomiya pratidin News Paper. 

 

The Report:- 

EDUCATIONAL NOTICE

No. TE(Ex) Admn-10/2018/Pt-1/163

It is brought to the notice of all concerned that the admission into the State Government Polytechnics of Assam will be done on the basis of marks obtained by the students in H.S. L.C. examination or equivalent with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects for the session 2024-25.

          However, for the course "Modern Office Management" of PCPS Girls' Polytechnic, Bamunimaidan, Guwahati, marks of 12th standard will be considered.

In this regard, necessary notification will be published in the local Newspapers and website of Directorate of Technical Education, Assam: www.dte.assam. gov.in at an early date. Interested candidates are requested to keep ready the following documents: -

Interested candidates are requested to keep ready the following documents: -

1. Permanent residents certificate [P.R.C.].

2. Caste certificate for all candidates except Un-Reserved Category.

3. Non-creamy layer certificate - for OBC/MOBC and also six communities under OBC/MOBС.

4. Grandsons/grand-daughters of freedom fighter Certificate issued by from the Principal

Private Secretary to the Chief Minister or from Home and Political Department and relationship certificate from concerned Deputy Commissioner. 

5. Son/daughterof retired defense person: certificate from the Director, Rajyik Sainik Board, Assam.

6. Son/daughter of central government employees: P.R.C.- from the concerned state authority outside Assam and service certificate of father/mother from the concerned authority located in Assam.

7. Physically Handicapped (PH)/ Persons with Disabilities (PWD): Identity Card for differently abled issued by the Social Welfare Department, Assam.

8. Economically Weaker Sections [EWSs]: Valid E.W.S. Certificate.

9. Tuition Fee Waiver [TFW]: Annual Income Certificate issued by the authority not below the rank of Revenue Circle Officer.

10. Sports quota: Certificate from the Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare, Assam.
